Painted stained glass small panel.
17x20cm (inc. base).
The central panel show a field of poppies painted onto beautiful textured red glass. The surrounding frame glass is red and green, indicating the rippling poppy field behind. The top is left open and not framed, to make the most of the `rolled edge’ of the glass.
This piece is painted in the traditional method and kiln fired during several firings, to achieve depth, texture and detail.
The panel is set off by a bespoke oak stand made by a local artisan.
